The Elenora Hotel seems to be the place to go when you want to have a social day out somewhere with friends. 

The management is fabulous and the staff are very accommodating and are happy to have a laugh with you.

This venue is accessible and does require you to ask for assistance with the lift that pretty much can only fit two people, with this on hand it doesn't take away from the majestic feel you get when you go there.

The Coffee Club is a regular place to go when supporting someone and there's a perfectly good reason for that. 

The locals love this shop due to wonderful customer service and absolute care thats taken no matter what your age or ability they are there to supply a welcoming smile, delicious food and an array of drinks hot or cold.

This cafe is situated in the little suburb of Caves Beach with plenty of delicious goodies, smoothies and of course a good cuppa or tea followed by a quick and friendly chat.

We say quick cause thats exactly what the staff have to be with so many coming in at times. 

The cafe also does lunch and is accessible, we do suggest that you  call especially if your making a special visit to see the caves at Caves Beach. 

The Tame Fox Cafe is located on the main road in Erina and would have to be one of the hippest places around with young and enthusiastic staff on the ready to assist customers where they can. 

The modern menu is great and we actually asked one of the staff about it, her knowledge of the food and what it contained was extensive which is fabulous if you have food allergies. 

As we were leaving the cafe we asked the staff why they were so happy and they replied great boss, to us that say's a lot about the cafe which is absolutely accessible. 

The restaurant industry for inclusion and access can be found on the Central Coast in many places, one venue in particular would have to be Waves Cafe at Avoca beach with the amazing staff who are so very diligent, welcoming and always having a smile on their dials. 

A suitable atmosphere for you to check out. Wheelchair friendly and a low key but in an accessible position is way too good to go pass. Go on in and say that "effervescent" sent you and they will know exactly who your talking about.

The coffee, service and presentation are delightful to say the least and the venue is absolutely accessible for any one wanting to pay a visit no matter what ability they have. 

Wow , what a wonderful place for all of those who are absolutely addicted to nougat and chocolate. As soon as you drive into this location  at 6 Jusfrute Drive Gosford your taste buds start having a party. The variety of delicious delights are extensive and so many wonderful things to try. There is even a peep hole so you can get a quick look at the factory where everything is being made. 

The  little cafe inside has an array of lunch time cuisine suited for all dietary requirements.

This venue is wheelchair accessible and has awesome friendly staff that are very kind and willing to help you out .

Gosford RSL club is located at West Gosford on the Central Coast, I am there nearly every other day sometimes and have to say that there hasn't ever been a time when I didn't receive the biggest smiles and a welcoming entrance into this venue, there is one lady in particular who stands out from the crowd and her name just happens to be Michelle.

I would like for you to definitely visit this great location for some delicious food with a variety of different cuisine styles for all tastes and meet some of the fabulous staff that make you feel more than comfortable when dining there.  

I might even see you there with our monthly coffee parents group. If you do see us there, don't be a stranger and come and say hi.

Excellent venue for customer service, everyone from the kitchen, bar staff, door service and table service people can only be described as very open, generous and happy to accommodate all needs whether it be the menu , seating arrangement's or the special requirements you might need if coming into the premises via a wheelchair, they have a place or spot for everyone no matter what your ability. 

At times with groups when going to see a show at the Laycock Theatre we would quite often go for a meal at the restaurant before social distancing and covid safe rules were applied. 

We would always have a meal there and I have to say that we were never late to one show ever.

The great part is that its totally accessible via a ramp which is at the front of the Marine Discovery building. 

The food there is amazing and the owner is a chef who has some delicious ideas and fabulous menus on board.

The Gourmet Pie Shop is a fast efficient store with the most amazing pies, burgers and anything you want to have on a sandwich. 

The staff are always available for a chat but dont let that fool you into thinking that you have to wait, this is one of the fastest takeaway places on the coast and the sizes of the meals are huge so its definitely a value for money food extravaganza. 

The owner Rose is a friend of ours and would have to be one of the hardest working people we know, she welcomes all who need help when choosing a meal from the extensive menu and the place is accessible too from the parking area, it does have a small step out the front but dont let that stop you from making a purchase. 

You have outside dining with umbrellas to keep you shaded.

Wining and dining in a place where you have total accessibility, great customer service and many places to sit, talk, watch the sports on the big screen or see a show, this venue has it all. 

The food and bar service is quick and meals come out promptly.

If there's a club to be a member of we highly recommend you take a look and if golfing or bowls is your go then this will suit you to a tee lol. 

Some hotels are the same and some stand out for its customer service, Terrigal is one of those accessible places where nothing is too much trouble and the food is yum. 

They also have karaoke, bands and pool tables for entertainment if you want to get out and have some fun. 

The hotel also have a bottle shop on the outside of the building so that the  drive though is a more convenient way, especially if your in a hurry to get to that event.

There is also outside and inside seating with heaters for those colder months when socialising in the beer garden.

An amazing place for shopping, laying on the beach, eating in the many restaurants and cafes but lets face it who can go pass the most walked up location with some splendid views and that of course would be The Skillion. 

The views of Umina, Pearl Beach and surrounds can be seen from this marvelous yet  breathtaking destination. If you are a keen photographer and want to capture something wonderful this is the place for you.

A sleepy little suburb with a camping area, The Boat house Hotel and plenty of places to fish, ride a bike take a long romantic walk and everything thing that is required for a most relaxing day away from the hustle and bustle. 

Disability support providers love accessing this place due to the many pools, basketball court and gym. 

The shop has all your favourite desserts, lunches and lets not forget the coffee. 

The life guards are always close and the heated therapy pool is the right temperature to get those joints moving. 

The pool also have carnivals and of course the Scuba Gym which is performing their own goals and miracles for people living with a disability.

Woy Woy waterfront is situated on  Brisbane Waters. 

The name Woy Woy is believed to come from the aboriginal word Wy Wy which means much water or big lagoon and thats exactly what you get to see. 

A scenic place with every kind of bird and talk about fishing, there's plenty to go around. 

There is also the ferry that runs along this waterway, absolutely fantastic for photography. 

Come to the coast and experience the sheer beauty it offers. 

The restaurants in the locality serve all sort s of food from fish n chips to hamburgers or if you are vegetarian there are plenty of place's to suit the plait.

The club has one of the many characteristics for a great day out with the aquatic centre, gym, fitness classes and lets not forget the food and big screens everywhere inside the club. 

Its a lot to take in but once you get inside and see how spectacular this venue is with so much to do, you will find somewhere to start  and fit into an  activity that suits. 

There are also a few eating areas to choose from but with good customer service on board the team will be more than happy to help with your exciting decision making.

One of the best walking and cycling paths we have seen which comes with the most amazing views. 

Situated from The Entrance going along to Chittaway this massive ride will take you to so many places, cafes, shopping ,picnic areas and lets not forget the getting fit part if thats what your after too. 

Many a photographer has captured beautiful moments here and Pete Rush has featured his sculptures all around this location as well. 

The children will love the many parks you can stop and enjoy from there well yearned exercise and you guessed it, totally accessible too. 

Wilfred Barrett Dr, Magenta would have to have one of the best bushwalks and the best part is the accessible pathway that runs along the road so whether you are a wheelchair user or walker there is two options to choose from and thats alright with SKS community.

Sometimes the aussie bush surprises you with our native animals or you might see some native plants but whatever it is that you would like to discover on your trip I'm pretty certain you will find it. 

Take a picnic lunch and enjoy the day either by yourself with friends or support.

SKS Community would have to be one of The Scuba Gym's favourite fans, we have been in contact with the founder and all round great human Lyndi Leggett for some time now. 

Lyndi Leggett started up this amazing idea in Australia and has helped a lot of people , we mean a lot.

The scuba gym provides therapy via the water, well actually under it and if your not under the water you are creating a masterpiece to take home with memories of your amazing day poolside with art. 

If you have thought about scuba diving and wasn't too sure how you might go well you need not worry anymore because Lyndi and her highly trained team of divers are there to assist you and take you into another world, a world of peace harmony and no gravity. 

You will feel free to move around and find that parts of you that you didn't think could ever move gain, might. 

We cannot recommend this wonderful therapy enough, it helps those who have Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Lyme's Disease, Dandy Walker Syndrome, Hypotonia, Fibromyalgia, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Motor Neuron Disease, Spina Bifida, Autism, Down Syndrome, PTSD.

If you are an amputee, Quadriplegic or Paraplegic this is the place for you providing that floating yet strong weightlessness that assists you to move freely through the water.

An added bonus of the experience is the games which are held inside and out of the pool, absolutely great for those gross and fine motor skills.  

The Scuba Gym runs from all different pools in the local area and are easy to find for that magical therapeutic experience that only one can describe as spectacular for not only the mind but general health.

Wyong Olympic pool has the most welcoming staff who provide you with that extra care factor. 

SKS community have been there to visit the Scuba Gym while they were accessing the pool. 

It is closed for winter due to it being an outdoor pool but when it warms up, go and check it out, take the family or someone who you support . 

Maybe you could have your school swimming carnival there or other fun party event. There is certainly enough grass area to hold the biggest of groups.

Long Jetty is known for its stunning views and of course the amazing photos you can take there with sunset being the best time for sure. 

The pathway/cycle way has always been a plus for those keen fitness people and families or lets face it anyone who has either a wheelchair, powered scooter, bike, scooter or skateboard. 

The picnic tables are covered and so are the BBQ's which is great if you still want to get outside even if it looks like rain you are covered. 

A splendid place to visit, totally accessible and only down the road is some trendy cafes with all types of food tastes satisfied. 

We are so grateful to have such an incredible place to access so for all those companies that provide support, this would definitely be a must visit on the Central Coast.

Photography lovers and enthusiast this is the place where you can use your creativity. 

The mountain has many attribute's, like bushwalks some accessible and some for walkers only.  

There is a function room and picnic tables around the reserve with accessible restroom and plenty of spots to kick the footy around or play games. 

A great day out for everyone and many adventurous places to find , they even have caves to see for those bushwalkers and trails for cyclists to go. 

If you would  like to use the function room it is necessary to book first and get prices. 

This is a must see place on the coast. 

Frost reserve is a little hidden gem, the reason I say this is not because it is hard to find but cause it has a bit of everything for those active people out there. 

All the local matches are held on the reserve and the feature is the skate ramp and lovely path that runs around the outside of the grassy oval. 

This is an accessible area but is rocky in places so for those who like four wheel driving with their chair you wont mind too much. 

North Avoca is located between Terrigal and Avoca Beach turn offs, its a little community of people who are friendly and always have a wave and smile.

The beach is serene and tranquil, its accessible at the top and then the path leads you to a sandy isle where you need to walk. 

This location has a couple of businesses one being a coffee shop with a couple of cool guys who own it and run it. 

Visit today for a beach day out with your family or support. 

Terrigal Surf Life Saving Club could be under a few different titles on our site, we are going to make it a recreation because it has the beach which is accessible on the path and if you are a wheelchair user its great due to the views being right there so to speak. 

The new walkway gives you access to The Haven now so its so much easier to get to the other side of Terrigal. 

The cafe located on the outside of the building can be quite busy sometimes, you could imagine how popular it would be with those views. 

Come to the Central Coast and take a look, enjoy a swim and a treat at the coffee shop .  

If you want to take your fury friend to a place where they can run free well this is the place for your companion. 

There is a fenced yard for them to be off a lead and the best part about is the sensory garden it is situated in. 

The park is also across from a skate ramp with paths in both areas. 

In the sensory garden is a bridge and riding circle for all you little cyclists. 

A lovely place to meet other groups and have a picnic or playing some hide and seek. 

An accessible place too which is what makes it so great. 

Newcastle baths are absolutely spectacular with an old unique building surrounding them. 

Many a photographer has used this amazing place for wedding photos, commercial and architectural images. 

The baths are a turquois colour and reminds you of travelling to a crystal blue ocean somewhere in the Mediterranean. 

The sunset is not too bad either, actually its fabulous. 

The baths have access into the water for swimming and you will usually find a local doing laps. 

If you visit the city of Newcastle make this one of the many accessible places to visit.   

The baths are located next to the Entrance Surf Club and has a life guard there patrolling the pool so that in its self is great. 

The ocean laps over the edge and keeps it fresh at all times. 

This is accessible and has many different ways to access it, either via the road or walking from the many car park areas. 

The birds and fish men are always catching fish so if you aren't a swimmer maybe bring  the fishing rod along, it might come in handy to catch that big one.

In the support industry we sometimes find it hard to go to a place that suits all needs and abilities from high support, moderate and low. 

We have a great place for you, its free and has a long walkway which runs along the lakes edge with not only views but a beautiful sensory park right at the end with seating for a picnic, so whether you are heading from The Entrance bridge towards Toukley you can still find somewhere to take a break. 

If you haven't been there yet with a group or your family maybe now is the time to go. 

The beach at this location is accessible, has magnificent views of the beach and has hosted some of the biggest names in skating and surfing comps from around the world. 

If you are looking for a place to go where the beach is right in front of you especially those keen photographers well you cannot go pass this destination. 

Its should be definitely on your to do list. 

Merewether is also known for its major charity walk events and hosts an array of exhibitions too. 

Nobbys Beach is very popular with not only the locals but also our international visitors. 

As you can see in this photo it stretches right along the coast line and the best part is the long splendid walkway with breath-taking views that is great if you are a wheelchair user. 

The walkway takes you to the lighthouse which isn't always open but spectacular from the outside anyway. 

There are many places to get an ice-cream or lunch. 

If you dont want to swim and the children love the sand there's plenty of dunes to run up and and down on. 

The walking path is accessible, great to walk and has many things to look out on the way. 

This is fabulous for wheelchair users and those who dont have a steady gait requiring an easy path to manoeuvre on. 

There are BBQ areas, toilet facilities and plenty of space to play games and have fun on the grassed area.

Macmasters Beach is not only the most beautiful places on the Central Coast but it has one of the most devoted and dedicated brigades who are known for looking after the community on another level. I am proud to say that the brigade was one of the very first of its kind to welcome a volunteer who is living with a disability to come on board and join the team.

Volunteering is so worth  while, assisting people  do a fantastic job helping out in  community is so very rewarding .

The food markets and night time events are a great way to get out and meet some wonderful people selling all sorts of produce and products, a fabulous way to support local small business that have many volunteers organizing the activities and always looking for some extra hands to assist. . 

The Mt Penang Gardens are open to the public and free to get into, with flora and fauna of all in full bloom representing our extraordinary array of Australian natives.

Erina library is one of the most relaxing places you could be with every book you could imagine, audible books, CDs and if you cannot find what you are looking for the librarians will order it in from the many other libraries around the Central Coast. 

The great part about the library is it is free. 

Free to use the knowledge provided in this amazing world which is there to expand the mind. 

All ages find the library fun, whether you are a toddler or up to a senior there is something for everyone.

The library also have exhibitions, courses that run in the many meeting rooms and professionals providing some great advice.

Please note that not all courses are free but truly informative . 

A great resource for the whole family and the best part is the accessibility and great service.

This exquisite place has the most beautiful Japanese influenced architecture with elegant bridges to walkways, raked zen gardens , koi filled ponds and ducks floating on the cascading water.

Inside you will find the gallery where many a breath taking art exhibition has been on, displaying all sorts of work by local artists and abroad.

Newcastle Museum is situated on Honey Suckle Drive in the city of Newcastle and would have to be a SKS community favourite. 

This amazing thought provoking place takes you back in time when the steel works was the main employment there that kept Newcastle alive.

The presentation slideshow and many collective memories tells you of a different era in steel and the many attraction's, stories keep you interested the whole visit. 

There is also special exhibits on all the time so please go visit this  accessible venue for some entertainment , history and good customer service. 

This looks like fun for all those dog lovers out there.
